Operational Manager/Director

Garnett Sterling is an accomplished leader with over 13 years of experience in Health and Social Care, dedicated to driving positive outcomes for young adults and ensuring organizational success. With extensive expertise in facilitating Problem-Solving Groups (PSGs) and addressing complex challenges with empathy, Garnett has built a reputation for fostering environments where staff and service users thrive. His career reflects a steadfast commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals through education, mentoring, and strategic interventions, all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

As the Director of Privilege Supported Care Limited, Garnett provides strategic leadership to the entire organisation, ensuring financial sustainability and operational excellence. All managers report to him, and he oversees every aspect of the business to guarantee its stability and growth. His prior leadership roles, including Operational Manager at Your Choice Social Care Ltd and Manager at The Way Care Services Ltd, underscore his ability to manage teams, safeguard vulnerable populations, and drive continuous improvement. Garnett’s academic foundation, which includes a BA (Hons) in Journalism and NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, complements his leadership acumen. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and staying informed on current affairs, embodying a balanced and forward-thinking approach to life and leadership.

Rodney Muhammad

Nominated Individual

Rodney Muhammad is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of post-qualification statutory experience in Children and Families services in the UK. As a GSCC-registered social care expert with in-date enhanced DBS clearance, Rodney has managed complex cases involving court presentations, Section 47 investigations, and child protection planning. His career includes strategic leadership roles such as Brokerage Manager at Oxfordshire County Council and Strategic Head of Placements at Achieving for Children. Rodney’s dedication to delivering high-quality care is reinforced by his extensive knowledge of safeguarding, compliance with regulatory standards, and experience mentoring student social workers.

Academically, Rodney has a Master’s in Business Management from the University of Wales, building on his Diploma in Social Work from North London University. His robust training history includes certifications in social care, leadership, and compliance. Rodney has held pivotal roles in ensuring the alignment of services with Ofsted standards, mentoring Registered Managers, and maintaining financial accountability in line with statutory requirements. His proven ability to build strong partnerships and lead high-performing teams ensures that Privilege Supported Care Limited meets its commitment to providing exceptional care and support for children and young people.

John Ojediran

Registered Manager

John Ojediran serves as the Registered Manager at Privilege Supported Care Limited, bringing extensive leadership experience from his previous roles as Team Leader at Future Supported Care Limited and Hopes Special Care Limited. Before transitioning into the Health and Social Care sector, John was a practising Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the founder of The Bloom Attorneys, where he served as Principal Counsel. His dedication to supporting young people reflects his commitment to delivering exceptional care and fostering positive outcomes within regulated environments. John holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor of Laws degree (Second Class Upper Division) from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is also a certified Associate Mediator, showcasing his expertise in legal and conflict resolution matters. John also has a Diploma in Computer Studies Certificate.

John has completed extensive training in health and social care, encompassing safeguarding, mental health management, risk assessment, and first aid, as well as leadership and ethical practices. His qualifications include a Level 6 Diploma in Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Advanced Diplomas in Ethical Recruitment and Data Protection and certifications in stress awareness, budgeting and complaints handling. With a strong focus on equality, diversity and inclusion, John combines his legal acumen and compassionate leadership to ensure high standards of care while maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.

David’s hands-on approach and commitment to ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance make him an invaluable asset to the organisation.

Throughout his career, David has earned recognition for his professionalism and adaptability, consistently exceeding expectations in challenging roles. His qualifications, including an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, are complemented by extensive training in areas such as risk management, fire safety, and first aid.
